There is something a little bit rebellious about wearing these new trousers knowing that they are technically pyjamas!
They are the ‘Margot Pyjamas’ sewing pattern from the ‘Love at First Stitch’ sewing book by Tilly Walnes.

I wanted some loose fitting black trousers, but not as wide as the wide leg patterns that I already owned. Inspiration came when wearing my Margot pyjamas one night. I realised that these were the exact style that I was after! I have written a previous post about my original Margot pyjamas that you can see here. The black crepe fabric that I used for this project was sent to me by Minerva (see disclaimer below), and was perfect for this project. I also like that it has a very subtle striped texture which you can only see when close up.
My full review and all the deets on these trousers can be found here on the Minerva site, so do hop on over to see how I adapted this pyjama pattern into these classic black trousers.
In the meantime I’ll leave a couple of pics here before you head on over to read all about them..

Oh, and I paired this outfit with my dark grey acrylic scissors necklace, with silver plated chain from my shop.

*This fabric was very kindly sent to me by Minerva in exchange for a review on their site, in my role as one of Minerva’s Brand Ambassadors. All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own. My Minerva post can be found here.
Take care, and I’ll be back soon,
